                                            SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS:

                  
                     Superhero:
                    This group is geared to satisfy the  "superhero" in your child. Your child will come together with other peers to learn
                      team work, engage in circle time, turn taking, sharing, successfully transition from activity to activity and learning to
                      socially interact properly in a class that is fun & imaginative. The activities will focus on building strength, endurance,
                      improve motor planning and gross motor skills.
                   
                           
                     Music & Movement:
                     Music when used therapeutically, can encourage socialization, communication & motor development.
                      This group is great for children who are non-verbal, apraxic or  have motor delays.
                      Turn taking, sharing, following directions, playing instruments and academic skills are incorporated.
                      Parent participation is required and encouraged.
 
                     YOGA:  
                      Taught by a trained and certified therapist based on "Yoga for the Special Child®” program. Yoga is a great sensory
                      diet for a child with special needs.
                      It develops strength, motor coordination, balance, communication, imagination and overall motor development.
                      Each class is individualized based on a child's needs. Parent participation is required and encouraged.

                         " Time for Us "  Mommy & me:

Socialization and learning with your baby/toddler is key in development.                        Help your baby reach their milestones.
This Group involves floor play time, finger play, music, dance, story/props,                               parachute and more.
Great for families involved in Early Intervention or to network with famlies of                        children with special needs.
                                       "Step It Up"   A Fitness  program for Kids ages 6 years to 12 years

               Obesity is on a high rise!!       Make a Change for LIfe... We can do it together.  " Yes We Can "

           A complete workout packed into 30 minutes. Taught by a fitness instructor under the direction of a Physical therapist.                                
This class will encourage children to get healthy, gain strength & flexibility, gain confidence, and fight obesity, diabetes and other health problems.
     
         *Class will be offered for 8 weeks, 2 times per week, after school and possibly Saturday morning depending on demand.

     Social Skills Groups Program Policy:

* Groups are 45 minutes in length, held once a week for a total of six weeks.
* Children are grouped according to their age and/or skill level.
* These groups have a minimum of 4 children & a maximum of 6.
*A 50% deposit is due upon registration, along with the enrollment form.
Once the child is screened and is determined appropriate to join the group, then final payment is due on the first day of class.
* Should caregiver and therapist agree that the child is not appropriate for a specific program after the child has started in a program, a refund amount will be prorated, based on number of sessions attended, minus a $50 fee to cover administrative costs. Otherwise tuition fees are non refundable.

Please note: We reserve the right to cancel any program for lack of enrollment. Then, tuition/deposits will be refunded in full.
               OT Fine motor group
               Children come together to work on activities that improve fine motor skills: hand strength, control, improved
NEW        manipulation and bilateral coordination. Children will develop improved grasp on objects, coloring, cutting;
               while learning to share, take turns and follow directions.  Activities will include table top activities, art and                         craft projects, cooking, gardening, sensory play, interactive games and more..
